With well over five hundred tickets sold for the CLA Banquet Tuesday evening, the event promised to be one to remember. The dinner''s planners served up not only a wonderful meal, but a sizeable helping of nostalgia as well. The theme for the evening was the 70''s, an interesting and turbulent time in America and a period of change and innovation for the Coin Laundry business as well. Dinner attendees were treated to bandanas, ''John Lennon'' type round rose colored glasses, and peace sign medallions, all carefully arranged at each place setting at the tables in the Banquet hall. Plus, there was a great selection of music, including Credence Clear Water Revival, the Rolling Stones and other rock legends, as well as a variety of seventies one hit wonders. There was also a terrific slide show with both industry images and news pictures of the 70''s. The only thing missing: there was not a single reported sighting of a velvet leisure suit
