Counterfeits Used Coin Laundry

Although the introduction of the new series of bills from the Treasury Department happened several years ago, some laundry owners do not seem to have received the news. For an example, in Ohio recently, a laundry operator opened up his changer and was shocked to see that it contained about $1,000 in phony twenty dollar bills. Police are investigating but we are not likely to hear about this money ever being recovered. The change machine apparently had not been updated to prevent counterfeit bills from being accepted. It was still set so that it could accept older twenty dollar bills. Editors note. After all of the articles written at the time currency changes were being made, how could any laundry owner have missed the news? Being dumb is still risky business for any business owner.
